The procedure

Breast fat transfer, explained properly

Two procedures in one — refined liposuction at the donor site, micro-droplet grafting at the breast — built entirely around fat survival. The whole picture, honestly.

01

Honest assessment first

Photos, your goal, your donor fat and your breast envelope — and a plain answer on what fat can deliver for you. If you want a two-cup change in one step, you'll be told an implant serves that goal better. Honesty here is the product.

02

Gentle fat harvest

Fine, low-pressure liposuction from the waist, abdomen or thighs — volumes chosen for the breast plan, with a genuine (modest) contouring bonus at the donor site.

03

Purification

The harvested fat is processed to concentrate healthy, viable cells — preparation quality is a major driver of how much survives.

04

Micro-droplet, multi-plane placement

Fat is layered in many fine passes across the right planes around the breast tissue — never crude boluses. Placement craft decides both survival and softness.

05

Deliberately modest volumes

Because ~50–70% of transferred fat survives, each session carries a natural ceiling. Overfilling kills fat; restraint keeps it. Larger goals are staged across sessions, honestly.

06

Settling & the true result

Swelling settles over weeks; surviving fat stabilises its blood supply. Judge the result at 3–6 months — what remains then is living tissue, yours for the long term.

The craft

Survival is placed, not hoped for.

Every droplet must gain a blood supply within days — so fat is layered as fine threads in many passes across the right planes, never crude boluses. Gentle harvest keeps cells alive; purification concentrates them; restraint at the volume ceiling protects them. The same craft that maximises your result minimises fat necrosis and imaging footnotes.

The survival science
Safety honesty

Mammograms, breastfeeding — answered straight.

Fat necrosis can leave benign calcifications on imaging — reliably distinguished by radiologists when you disclose your surgery; evidence does not show increased cancer risk, and screening continues as normal. Proper technique respects the gland, so breastfeeding ability is generally preserved. Both conversations happen here before you ask.
